# Overview

WA Blast sends one WhatsApp campaign to many selected contacts using a message template approved by Meta. Teams can use it for announcements, notifications, marketing communication, and structured customer follow-up.

## How a broadcast is assembled

- **Template** defines the approved message structure and content.
- **Audience** defines which contacts are eligible to receive it.
- **Broadcast** combines the template, audience, and delivery configuration.
- **Statistics** shows delivery results and recipient-level information after sending.

## Recommended workflow

1. Create or select an [audience](/features/wa-blast/audiences/) using criteria that match the campaign objective, then review its preview.
2. Select an approved [template](/features/wa-blast/templates/) or submit a new template to Meta early enough for approval.
3. [Create the broadcast](/features/wa-blast/create-broadcast/), configure its details, and verify the message preview.
4. Confirm the intended audience, template variables, and final content before sending.
5. Monitor the campaign from the [Broadcast Dashboard](/features/wa-blast/broadcast-dashboard/) and review [broadcast statistics](/features/wa-blast/broadcast-statistics/) after delivery begins.

## Before you send

Check that recipients belong to the intended segment and that contact data is current. Verify every template variable in the preview, especially personalized values. A broadcast can reach many people at once, so audience and content review should be treated as a required approval step.

## Measuring results

Use summary statistics to understand overall delivery and the recipient table to investigate individual outcomes. Compare results against the campaign's objective rather than evaluating delivery volume alone.
